Backup Solution

I am looking for a backup solution for a couple of (small) companies.  I am currently looking at either finding a web based solution or creating my own solution at home.  Yes, the better solution would be to have an outside company handle the backup, but  they do not want to have big monthly expenses.  I currently use Cobian Backup which has everything that I need and is simple to use.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

1 - I use Data Deposit Box, and am extremely satisfied. Not sure of how applicable their services would be for corporate use, but for individual use they seem to offer the best value; aside from occasionally tweaking which locations I want backed up, it all happens without having to babysit it; and on the rare occasions that I've needed to restore files, I've never encountered a corrupt backup (unlike some tape-based backup systems I could mention). It's both web-based and externally hosted, so it also provides a way to remotely access any files that I've selected for backup. Not too shabby for $2/GB/month... for less than I spend on Internet access, I could (though I haven't yet chosen to) back up my entire MP3 collection: offsite, automatic, and accessible from anywhere.

2 - Just go and get mozy.com. Nice over the internet backup - been working for me for more than a year.

Lovely.

(And Acronis? Just barfed on a whole years worth of images..)

3 - Second the Mozy recommendation. Using at home for a while now and very happy. Dead simple, and they offer a corporate rate as well as home.

4 - I've been using Fabrik { Link } for about a month. Unlimited backup storage for $5/mnth/machine. Not for backing up o/s, mainly your data.

5 - I highly recommend Carbonite. I have about a dozen people on it and the web administration is simple to use. Restoring files to a new computer simple. They notify you as well via email if a user has not connected recently to backup. I tried out a bunch and this is the best by far.
